Ahh...The Weekend...

Well, two days of work and I am now on my weekend already...boy I love my job! Next week will be a full week though. No days off this time.
Things have been going well lately. Yesterday though I came accross a lady that ended up on the meridian on one of our main streets. She lost control on the ice while driving. She spun and skidded and ended up facing pretty much the wrong direction. She was ok and 2 cops ended up helping me push her out and back on the road again.
Did I not say that I was done with accidents already? I am sure that I did. I just seem to attract them around my family or myself!
Well, tomorrow morning I wake up early so this has to be short and sweet...
I get to go to dog obedience class and then dog agility. All this starting at 8am! What fun for me. But I love everybit of it!
Gotta run...till next time...

The Day I start My New Class...

Well, it has arrived! Today I officially introduced myself to my instructor and the rest of my online classmates. I read over the all the info and the class overview and boy oh boy do I have my work cut out for me. I am really foing to be buy with this one class. Oh well, I have to get back into the swing of things again.
Today is also the 2nd last day of my holiday break and then back to work on Thursday. I went and paid off some bills and then and rented four movies to watch. Sometime in between them I will get some house cleaning done. Tonight though I plan on relaxing before my son gets back. Then the house will once again be loud and rest is something you never hear of.
But in order for me to accomplish todays tasks, I must leave you now and go on my merry way. Till next time....

An Interesting Night

Well, let's just say that last night was a different night. I witnessed two police vehicles crash into each other. Let's just say that we were almost in the middle of it. The police van was turning on to the road and a K9 unit with lights on I might add, was cruising at a good speed on the road. Then BANG! Both vehicles whirled around and it was done. They were a bit worried about the dog, but I believe he was ok in the end. Just shook up.
After this, I go home and listen to the scanner and another police vehicle got into an accident. Apparently, one pc(police cruiser) slid through a red light going to a call and a car stopped for it. Seconds later another pc goes through the intersection hitting the car that had stopped for the first pc. WOW! The dog in the civilian's car was ok also. The man was taken to hospital but with minor injuries.
Speaking of accidents, my mother was in a 4 vehicle accident on New Years Eve and my step brother is in ICU here in Saskatoon for another mva(motor vehicle accident). We are all hoping the best for him right now.
So, it has been a whirlwind of accidents here, I must say...
Well, I think I have given enough news for the day...I am starting to sound like one of those news reporters.
Catch you later...

A Snowy New Years

Well, I hope everyone had a wonderful safe and Happy New Years. I visited my family for a bit and then we went to a house party. The guys had a good game of poker going while the girls sat around and talked. I ended up coming home about 1:30 am. So it was an early night in the end. We ended up getting a bunch of snow the whole night. My little car with a sports pak doesn't like the snow too much. Last year I ended up hanging up my car on a bunch of snow. It took forever for me to dig out of that one.
Well I have 4 days left of holidays and then it is back to work for me. I work at one of the elementary schools here as an Educational Assistant. It can be a stressful job but the rewards I sometimes get make it very worth it in the end. I am also taking a university class starting this Wednesday. I have been taking a math readiness course in prep for a university one since it has been 15 years since I have graduated from high school. I have to refresh my math skills but I enjoy it though. So all in all almost everynight after work I have something to do. The one good thing is that our university is offering this course on the web, so I can work on it in my spare time. I will let you know how it is going.
Well, Sunday chores await me, take care...
