VFF's

Pretty neat stuff. I have come across the odd person wearing these and had always wondered what they were and now I know. In our world wide web I have read a few blogs about them and will pass on this info to you so you may find out a little more. That is if this intrigues you as much as it did me.

So like a curious cat, I searched my city online to see if and who may carry such a new thing to me. Well the one place that popped up was our locally owned running store, Brainsport, and then I saw another store that intrigued me even more.... Escape Sports. I phoned the place up to check and verify that they do, indeed carry these intriguing things and a variety of sizes I may think I was. They did so I clean up and off I waddled.

I must say I was impressed not only by the store itself but the service. When I arrived, there was another gentleman trying a pair of VFF's on and quite liking them. I really liked the down to earth atmosphere there and I was promptly helped. My foot was sized appropriately and then the trying on of these marvelous inventions started. I am in love with these things.

Now, after I had picked what I liked in VFF's, I was drawn to some jackets by Loki. Now these were also the cat's meow also. I am talking zippered vents, hood, built in mitts, and... built in face sheild! Now maybe I just live under a rock and have not contact with outside life but I have NEVER seen these before and they were just the coolest.

So if you haven't guessed it by now... guess where I am going shopping when I get some cash. :0)
Not just a want but a need because I need a new jacket as mine is falling apart and I haven't seen anything that has caught my eye till now. I also think that either one of the Loki jackets or hoodies is going to be great for my son.

As for the rest of today, doc in afternoon and figure out if there is a date yet that I can return to work.

Well I guess I won't be returning to work tomorrow... off for about 3 wks again here and assess again then. ARGH!!! Hopefully the specialist can shed light here because I am going to go crazy!
