Did I ever mention that I HATE crutches!

lol... seriously, these things have to be the worst things in the world.  Grant it, they do their job, but they are a pain in the butt!  I think I may just go with the cane instead here...

Well, I have managed to get in to physio here at 5 pm since there was a cancellation.  It is going to be the initial assessment and such so we will see what they have to say.  Maybe they will have some better news than what the doc said, since I tend to trust them more sometimes...  I just can't wait to get started with it.

I am sitting here with my leg up staring outside at the grass that needs to be cut in the front lawn and trying to come up with a way that I can do this with out killing myself more. lol My hubby won't be home till tomorrow and the neighbours are already giving the uglies to me... may be I can use the cane...  I am the worst to be injured you know.  You tell me I can't do something and I am bound and determined that I will find a way to do it. lol  I really have to share the rest of my story one day here about my past so that you all may understand why I am so darned stubborn with this running thing and other stuff. :)

I had to laugh yesterday.  I received an email from the manager of one of the Running Room locations here yesterday asking me if I still was interested in instructing the 1/2 clinic starting Thursday.  I completely forgot about that one!  I am going to go speak to him here this afternoon about my situation and that I can still instruct it... I just will be on the bike for the runs until I am able to run again - I still need to keep my cardio up.  I can pace them just the same on the bike, it will be easier for me, I am a GREAT example of what NOT to do :), and it will make it easier for me to go back and forth between everyone especially if there are going to be some speedsters out there which there always is.  So, I have my plan of attack and will see if it is still a go.  My one instructor back when I started to run had close to the same issue and used his bike for a while... then went on to run BOSTON!!!  Needless to say, he was the BEST instructor EVER and I know I will never come even close to being as good as he was as an instructor, and I am not an expert, BUT... I have experience of quite a few races, determination, the enthusiasm, and I am a great example of what can be done when all things are against you.

I really have to share my story here soon...

Well... if this wasn't a kick in the butt or what but... the doorbell just rang and my Wii Fit is here!!!!  AHHHHHHH! lol  AND... I can't use it!!!!  AHHHHHHH!  This totally sucks at the moment...  At least I can open the package and look at how pretty it is. :)

Hope all is well in blogger land. :)
